We're back with Murder, She Wrote. This episode, Jessica inherits 4% of a football team left to her by an uncle who no one else in the family bothered showing up to the funeral for. We learn the meaning of the word intestate and still are not fully sure if you can buy stock in a sports team. This was a fun episode all about the footballs and reasons why you should never kill someone while wearing your nice clothes.

A private detective Jessica is working with is murdered. She teams up with his grumpy partner to get to the bottom of things. This is the first episode to feature Jerry Orbach as Harry McGraw. Overall a fun episode and we attempt to give all of the suspects a rating. I think we called this one pretty early on.

It may not be the Titanic, but murder is lurking at every turn as Jessica accompanies her niece, Pamela, who is dealing with the recent loss of her husband. Is this a swinger cruise? By the end, we seem to have convinced ourselves that it is. Does this episode feature Leslie Nielsen as a ship captain? You betcha. All we were missing was a salty pirate and an iceberg.

Yet another music based episode. This time, Jessica is in New Orleans to be interviewed for a morning show. She ends up at a jazz club where a musician dies while performing. Of course, she's gonna have to get to the bottom of this. Jessica has a toe-tapping time with a lot of guest stars and plenty of jazz.

Jessica is invited to attend a show her nephew is working on Broadway. She ends up getting mixed up in some shenanigans and it's up to her to untie all the knots. Featuring lots of singing and more weird detectives.

Jessica is chosen to be a temporary state representative right before a crucial vote. There's lots of octogenarian parties, foot rubs, and murder to go around as we get to the bottom of these governmental hijinks.

Our guest this week is Jackie the cockroach (Olivia Wise). The specter of death follows Jessica to a generic hotel/casino. We show off our drunk voices, learn about the inner workings of casinos, experience mass hypnosis, and learn why you should never use hotel ice machines.

The Russian ballet is coming to town! Jessica ends up in some political intrigue as she works with a KGB agent to round up some asylum seekers. Huh? What? We enjoy all of the terrible accents and more of Sheriff Tupper's ineptitude. We also find out how safe you are walking the streets of Boston at night while being followed by a KGB agent. We also lament what seems to be the end of Ethica? Jethan? Whatever you wanna call it we are gonna miss shipping Jessica and Ethan.

Jessica has to solve a murder. What's new? Our guest this episode is Sean Josephs who helps us dig through the insanity of a theme park murder entrenched in '80s telecommunication tech and dream about JFletch riding the Helltack from Rad. Driverless cars? The future is here! Cabot Cove is being menaced by a driverless station wagon. It's now up to Jessica to outwit the outwittable. Our guest this episode is the AI for a Corvette Stingray named C.A.T.T. (Controlled Autonomous Transportation Technology) played by Lindsay Huber. We dissect the shenanigans in the episode and secretly wonder what Ethan could have done differently to stop a murder.

Jessica is invited to give some lectures about creative writing at a university. Of course, her talks are all about murder and there wouldn't be a show unless someone is murdered for Jessica to find the killer. We also both agree that David is a great character and wished that he would have returned for more episodes. Also, this one may not be for the kids.

A dog, Teddy, is the prime suspect in the murder of Denton Langley. Jessica must do her thing to get him out of the doghouse. This episode's guest is Teddy the dog, played by Kristen Drenning. We talk about horse pee tests and elephant rides as well as dole out plenty of tummy rubs. Obviously, it got weird.

Jessica goes to Hollywood to try and stop a smutty adaptation of one of her books. And, of course, you can't have an episode of this show without a murder which Jessica will have to solve. We also get an exclusive interview with the ghost of golden age of Hollywood starlet, Gina Carlyle (Brooke Egelston). Was she murdered? Probably. We're here to spread the word.

On this episode, we have our first guest, Agnes Peabody. We learned on the first episode that Agnes is Jessica’s literary rival in the murder mystery genre. Jessica is back home from her trip to New York. This time out there's trouble when a perfume magnate is lost off the coast during a hurricane. Levi is still skeptical about this hurricane.
