If you are not, it is still important because it evidences for all people the importance of accountability, community, majority rule, and unbiased representation of the people to instill a nation where everyone can thrive with equal opportunity. Unfortunately, it is rarely read anymore and is taught less and less to children, leading to a disregard for the values it expresses, the freedoms it seeks, and the order it was devised to establish.
