In this episode I break down how you can think about what you're thinking about - and no, it's not as confusing as it sounds! It's called metacognition. We can experience so many different emotions throughout the day, and letting our emotions rule us is a surefire way to feel the worst. I was talking with one of my good friends, Whitney, today and she mentioned that maybe I am depressed because I am feeling situational depression - not actually clinically depressed. And the more I thought about it, the more I realized that she was bang on the money. I had been so caught up in my cycle of stress that I forgot I even talk about this in my book, 'Positive Power: 12 Steps to Mastering Your Mindset'!   The situations we put ourselves in can make or break us. We can move to a new city thinking it will be the right thing for us, but it ends up taking us farther away from what we actually wanted.
