Two Rivers Gallery is located on the traditional, unceded territory of the Lheidli T'enneh, on the land that is now referred to as Prince George, British Columbia, Canada.

The Artist:

Amanda Strong is a Michif interdisciplinary artist with a focus on filmmaking, stop motion animations and media art. Currently based on unceded Coast Salish territories also known as Vancouver, BC, Canada.  Strong is the Owner/Director/Producer of Spotted Fawn Productions Inc.

Her solo exhibition is on at Two Rivers Gallery from October 23nd, 2020 – January 3rd, 2021.

About the Exhibition

iskocîsa (little fires) is an exhibition that places emphasis on the artistic process associated with stop-motion animation. By exhibiting a series of Strong’s films, along with sets, props and puppets used within her projects, visitors will feel like they are within the studio where they come to life – frame by frame.
