#044-We have all been wronged at one time or another. Some of these wrongs may have been especially painful by someone you trusted or confided in. As physicians and nurses, we are exposed to the complete spectrum of life from birth to death. In that, we are also exposed to a broad range of personalities and emotions. Even if you have been in medicine for a little time, you will have undoubtedly felt the sting of being wronged by someone, and some of us hold a grudge against others.
Many people hold grudges, sometimes deeply seeded ones, for months and years. Many are unable to let the hurt go and feel anger toward the person who caused the pain. Why do we do so? Why do we hold grudges when they are so painful and actually work against achieving our goals?
Friends, stop holding a grudge and focus on growing a life dictated by you, not be anyone else.
Let me show you how to stop holding a grudge in today's episode.
