815 When Things Go Wrong

Some days are more wonderful than other days. Some days everything seems to fall into place. But other days when things go wrong, what happens to you?

You become disappointed in yourself, the outcome of your activities. In fact, sometimes you try and instill blame on someone else.

What good does that do you when things go wrong?

It doesn't do you any good!

And during these times of disappointment, we even get defensive with God. How dare He let this happen!

You may be worried, disappointed, sad, mad, or fearful today.

I want you to pause and hear this...

"But as for you, be strong; don't be discouraged, for your work has a reward." ~ 2 Chronicles 15:7

What you do matters, even your failures.

Maybe you yelled at the children this morning.
Maybe you were short with your husband when talking taxes.
Maybe you physically reacted to a bad situation.

When things go wrong, you need to understand and believe that good can come from it.

"So encourage each other and give each other strength, just as you are doing now." ~ 1 Thessalonians 5:11

What messaging are you sending to yourself today?

Are you holding too tight to the gray, dreary, damp days because you're too exhausted to put any effort toward what you can do right.

You have a choice today when things go wrong.

The K.I.S.S. ~ Make the moment better than the one before!

You may not be able to make wrong right, but you can allow God to close a door and open another one.

Let Him bring comfort to your wrongs, and open the next door of possibility.
