The Unseen Enemy: Identifying Burnout (Part 1)
Having hit rock bottom twice this year due to burnout, I have come to realize that burnout is a crippling yet often overlooked issue many creatives grapple with. This inspired me to not only share my personal encounters but also delve into ways to both identify and understand why burnout occurs.
Although we will all face foes on our creative hero's journey, burnout can quickly take you from capable adventurer to hopeless hermit. Take control by learning how to regularly 'pulse check' your mental and emotional states, keeping your creativity alive while ensuring resilience against burnout. As we explore my personal encounters with this invisible beast, we'll reflect on how to strike a balance between our efforts and expectations.
