Liberty Blues Ep. 72 Todd Corsetti Idaho House Second District
Todd Corsetti is running for the U.S. House of Representatives in Idaho's Congressional District 2. He lives in Pocatello, Idaho, with his wife, Amber. They have five children and twelve grandchildren.
He has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and worked in the semiconductor industry for 30 years. During his career, he worked in both Utah and Idaho, and completed two work assignments; one for 7-months in Israel helping a factory ramp for production, followed by a 2-year research and development position in Austin, Texas. He was Director of Operations & Site General Manager of the semiconductor and integrated circuit factory in Pocatello when he retired from the industry in 2018 at the age of 54. He also served on the board of directors for the United Way of South East Idaho and is an active member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
Upon his retirement, Todd became more heavily involved in politics and Austrian Economics. He is an active member of the Libertarian Party of Idaho (LPID), holding positions as Chair of Region 3 and Chair of the Public Relations Committee. He was the first elected Libertarian in Idaho, obtaining the office of Precinct Committeeman. He is Chair of both the LPID Bannock County Central Committee and the Legislative District 28 Central Committee and is a voting member of the LPID Idaho State Central Committee.
