RE-ENGAGED: Ethnic Minorities and Disproportionate Environmental Impacts w/Charles Ogunbode

Knowledge, Engaged

15-11-2022 • 24 minutos

It's Action for Climate Empowerment and Civil Society day at COP27 today (as well as Energy!) which means - surprise bonus! - we are re-engaging with another episode from last year! Race and Climate Change are inextricably linked, as our guest Dr Charles Ogunbode discusses with Chris Sims. In this episode, we look at why the conversation about the environment is missing out on a vital demographic, when that same demographic tends to shoulder most of the impacts.

Knowledge, Engaged is brought to you by The Institute of Policy and Engagement at the University of Nottingham, to bring together the ground-breaking research done at Nottingham and you, the listener. Join us as we explore the work the researchers are doing and how it makes a difference in the world around them.
