Sarcoidosis is a rare inflammatory disease, that affects one or more organs, but most common in the lungs. Some of the other affected organs are the skin, eyes, liver. brain, spleen and heart. Although no one can predict how the disease will progress, some insight may be gained from the patients symptoms, physical examination findings, and laboratory data.
