Trilogy Outdoors Radio Show 10 5 Marshall's Marine Storm Relief
Faith in humanity!!!! This week is all about the many different groups that are working tirelessly to raise  funds and to gather essentials to transport to our neighbors in the upsate and in the Western North Carolina mountains. We have seen an incredible miracle at work, as the flow of these items is continuing to these areas from the air and the ground. We are joined by Carter Sheridan a young pilot and flight instructor from Georgetown, S.C.. Carter and his family have been working around the clock and with the help of several other pilots and plane owners, they have conitued a connection of all the essential items to the areas that are in dire need. This young man is an absolute hero and at 22 he is mature far beyond his years. We are also joined by our very own, Adrianna Lawrence with WBTW TV 13. Adrianna joined a group from SC Needs Help this week and had an exciting 36 hours on the road making deliveries in the mountains and upstate S.C. She will be doing a feature story this week so we did not want to dive too deep into her experiences. But, her description was "Life-Changing". Also joining us was Capt Fred and his great friend from Boone, N.C., Allen Burchell. Allen has been actively working on the ground in NC since the rains were just starting to clear out. He enlightens us on several things including the status of several areas in the mountains.  He also shares some of the most essential of needs that they have for those that were displaced. This week, we don't get to discuss much in the way of fins, fur, and feathers, but I think we discussed far more important topics. Our friends at Black Mingo Venison Processor and Taxidermy say that they are starting to see some really nice bucks and the signs that love is in the air. They are prepared to take care of all your needs with your harvest including any mount that you can imagine. As far as fishing the inshore bites are really picking up along the coast. We are seeing great reports on flounder and redfish. Not just the Bull Reds, but plenty of slot sized fish being found in all of the estuaries and particularly around the jetties. Alligator hunting is on the top of many lists for anyone that had the fortune of being drawn for a tag thsi year. We were fortunate to see a big 12 plus gator harvested in the Pee Dee/Black River area. With the floodwaters making their way to the Santee rivers, anyone should use extreme caution if you venture up those ways and be careful of debris and swift currents. We hope you have a great week and if you can find the time or the ability in anyway to assist with the relief efforts, please help the many groups bring some help to the hills. Enjoy,Capt. SARS Episode 500 3 30 MIFC Michael Holmes, Jason Grant, Don Nesmith, Chef Richard and more
This week we hauled the Toyota Tundra down to the beautiful Marshwalk in Murrells Inlet to do the show at Murrells Inlet Fishing Charters. Capt Jason was down this week and under the weather, but Capt Chris played host to Capt E, The Bassmaster, Bert Williams, Don Nesmith, Chef Richard and JAson Grant and Michael Holmes via phone. We had lots to talk about this week with the fishing turning on and the Easter Week being super bisy for all of our partners on the water. We are joined by Jason Grant of First Mate Marine to discusss the Georgetown Meatfish Slam coming up on April 13th thru the 20th out of Georgetown Landing Marina. This event is gonna be bigger and better with the addition of some great sponsors and increased promotion of the evetn. We are also joined by our good friend from Sparks Toyota, Michael Holmes. Michael's son Luca was diagnosed with Leukemia and has been going through several years of treatment and is just a month away from his last scheduled treatment. The Holmes family have started a non-profit to help families that are faced with the same diagnosis and to prepare them for the battle ahead. We will be sharing all the info for their events in the coming months and we hope that the Fishheads will participate and help support this group. Bert Williams of Monarch Roofing joins us to chat a litte about some upcoming events that they have going on that will help raise funds for their incredible charity. We are blessed to have a platform to helo so many great groups and our incredible sponors. Thank you to all that listen in to the show and podcast each week. This week we also have an extra segment at the end that includes Doin Nesmith and the one and only Private Chef to the Stars, Chef Richard Florczack. 2023 Southern Anglers Radio Show at Waccamaw Outdoors Christmas GiftAway
Each year we try to give back to our awesome group of fishheads through our Annual GiftAway Extravaganza. This year we chose Waccamaw Outfitters as our venue and a great time was had by all. We were blessed to have Capt. Chris, Capt Matt"The River Rat", Officer Tommy, Chef Richard, Fred "Fish Police" Rourk, and Bassmasters EQ Angler of The Year JT Thompkins join us for the morning. With Waccamw Outfitters as a beautiful back drop, we gave away hundreds of dollars in great gifts and that included gift certificates to many of our partners. With the line up we had, there was lots of great topics and we, once again, are amazed at the maturity of our good friend JT Thompkins, as he shared many thoughts on his 2023 year and the future for himself at the top level of tournament bass fishing. We hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas and wish you the Happiest of New Years in 2024. We appreciate each of you for making us the most listened to fishing and hunitng radio show on the Grand Strand!!
