Pastor Emily and I continue our 7 part series "Seven Deadly Sins" with Part 3 "The Green Eyed Monster" Envy. Envy is a destructive emotion that breeds resentment and negativity towards others good fortune, often leading to further harmful actions and is seen as a violation of gratitude and contentment of ones own life.

Part 2 of our 7 part series "Seven Deadly Sins". This weeks episode is on the danger of unchecked anger and righteous anger and the difference between the 2.

For the next 7 weeks of recording Pastor Emily and I will be covering The 7 Deadly Sins, 6 of which I'm super guilty of. I am really impressed at how candid Emily was and how she held herself and continues to hold herself accountable for years of gluttonous behavior. We both share some personal experience, our wake up calls and how God helped us get better at managing this part of our lives. this one a must here.

After Vacations, Tech problems and me losing my voice. Pastor Emily and I are back. I'm still a little bit hoarse but we managed to put out an episode. This is part 1 of a 2 part series about prayer.

We share what The Old Testament (The Tora) and Mosaic Law says about it as well as The New Testament and what Jesus says. We also discuss what The Book Of Discipline says.

In this weeks episode, Pastor Emily and I discuss financial security and securing ones financial freedom as well as planning for the future. What we say, what the scripture says and what John Wesley says, all while staying true to God.

Pastor Emily and I discuss the power of words. How words and the way we choose to use them can either tear down or build up  person. We need to use this power for good and not evil. In the wake of a mutual friend taking his own life last week we try to make sense of it through by sharing  our own personal battles with depression. Of course we look to the scriptures to see what God has to say about it.

Being through 2 divorces of my own and Pastor Emily having gone through ! herself, we understand the heart ache, the depression, the embarrassment and the humiliation of divorce. We discuss what The Old Testament, The New Testament and what Our church Leaders have had to say and What God says. it was a difficult subject to tackle but we made it through it in one piece. hope this one helps someone struggling with this.
