Of Hope and Courage: Tolkien Reading Day 2021
After a meaningful foreword, in this very special episode, the Kilts and Cosplay segment is followed by readings from the works of Prof. J.R.R. Tolkien that give us moments of hope and courage. Then, there is a brief two part Geek History segment before a particularly meaningful close. As a courtesy, your host would like to give an advance warning that there is a segment that deals with the delicate subject of self harm. The segment is titled, "Night Entered His Heart", and is in a format that you can skip it should you choose. It was included with the intent to encourage the listener, but every person is different and the host would rather you not listen than to be made uncomfortable. If you are strugling and need to reach out to someone, the host can be reached through The Kilted Lantern Podcast Group on Facebook or via Email at email@example.com. If it is an emergency, help is available 24/7 through the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline: 800-273-8255. You are special and loved.
