Every once in a while, you have an encounter with the Divine. In this episode, Kerry talks with fellow podcaster, influencer, and dear friend, Ben Tapper, about a divine encounter they had together in a hotel bar in Indianapolis in 2018. Though they've both written and spoken publicly about the event separately, this is the first time they talk about what happened publicly together. This is a discussion about soul groups, initial wounds, and what it means to experience love as a verb, not just an emotion.
Ben Tapper (he/him/his) is an Indianapolis resident and a co-founder of the Kindred Collective. Ben hosts the Invisible Truths and What Would it Take Podcasts and is actively involved in faith-based spaces, particularly ecumenical and Anabaptist spaces. His work sits at the intersection of faith, justice, and healing. Ben holds a Master of Divinity from Christian Theological Seminary and a Master of Public Affairs from Indiana University. He helps organizations hold space for difficult questions and discern their underlying values and principles.
