This episode discusses how a powerful prophet of God, Elijah, lost sight of the big picture. Many of us may feel as if God has forgotten about us or changed his mind when things don't go according to our plan. This is especially true when we are doing work for God. Joshua 23:14 declares, "You know with all your heart and soul that not one of all the good promises the LORD your God gave you has failed. Every promise has been fulfilled; not one has failed.” But when your efforts don't yield the results you were expecting, you may doubt God and His word. God is sovereign and as His children we must learn that there is a bigger plan outside of ourselves.
