Today a little nugget from the world of TV and film adapted for podcasting.

On TV and film sets all around the world, 2 things need to happen to capture a recording.

1. The cameras need to be on

2. The sound needs to be on.

You might hear the term ‘rolling’ because you may remember back in the good old days we used to use actual film. In my country we call movies films!

Anyway… Only after those 2 things happen can the director say the word ‘ACTION’.

And when the word action is said, you may see a clapper board.

Seeing as a clapperboard emoji is available, I’m going to assume you know what one is.
