First things first, folks...Jay is back!!! Return of the Jay, indeed. So, the boys start out catching up, and Jed realizes he really doesn't even like Jay as a person, and quickly fires him. Ok..not really. Jay eats too much pizza, and they discuss how weird it is to be in hotel rooms after sobriety, and want to know if that is a common occurance to people who haven't done debaucherus things inside them. Then, Jed interviews Rev. Danny Nemu, author of many, many books including 'NeuroApocalypse'. Danny believes the Old Testament is littered with allusions and direct documentations of psychedelics, including the idea that Manna itself was Ergot, the precursor to LSD. Was the burning bush a DMT-producing Acacia Tree? Was the tabernacle filled with the smoke of cannabinoids? While Jed and Danny may disagree on some fundamental ideas, it was a very enjoyable conversation, and Danny certainly knows what he is talking about. So sit back , and enjoy the trip.
