This week on Episode 7, we are talking on the topic of “Butchering 101 And How We Decided Homesteading Was Our Goal” Butchering your own meat birds is an easy way to get your foot in the door when working towards the goal of provide your family with their own meat. We talk about some of the process, the different birds and sizes, and how to know how much your family will eat in a year.

We also discussed how it was that we came to the conclusion that homesteading was our goal before making the move to our current homesteads. What the process looked like, goal setting and how we learned bite size steps is the way to go.
