For many of us, our church upbringings taught us that, once you’ve been saved by Jesus’ death on the cross, you’re just on your own until the coming of the Kingdom of Heaven.  Good luck and Godspeed!

The problem is, people can get awfully discontent waiting for Heaven when they haven’t been taught how to live the truth of God’s Kingdom in their daily lives here on Earth.
