Season 2 Finale | Exploring New Horizons: Pivoting from Podcasting to YouTube
Episode 8, our season finale! Starting the podcast was a way to stay positive during a tough time. I love the podcast format, and sharing an episode with you all every two weeks. However…a recent chance encounter at a conference sparked an interest in something I hadn't really considered before  – a YouTube channel! So, I’m making this shift; one that feels daunting yet exciting, a new creative venture that feels more personal and in-depth.The decision to pivot from podcasting for now doesn't come easy, but I'm eager to explore YouTube's silent-style videos, offering intentional messages in a world filled with noise. Despite feeling nervous about the vulnerability in showing more of my life, I've realized the importance of sharing one’s journey and gifts to inspire others. This step forward into YouTube feels like trusting in the unknown and allowing the path to unfold as I go.While this marks a pause for the podcast, I'm grateful for everyone on this journey and excited for what's ahead. I would love for you to join me in my new chapter on YouTube. Thank you for being a part of this podcast journey, prioritizing yourself, and spending time with me. Carry on, be well, and don't be a stranger! And if you enjoyed this episode, please share it on your socials and tag me at @balanced.entrepreneur. Ep. 6 | From Disconnect to Renewal: Embracing Spiritual Growth

Ep. 6 | From Disconnect to Renewal: Embracing Spiritual Growth
In today’s episode, I open up about recent months of my spiritual journey, reflecting on where I've been and where I am now in terms of my relationship with God. Growing up, I was deeply involved in church, but as I got older, I found myself feeling more disconnected and distant – and I had more trouble “fitting it in,” so to say. Despite setting yearly goals to strengthen my relationship with God, I felt like I was falling short each time.Fast forward to the past year or so, I hit a point where everything felt challenging—business, relationships, health...Feeling tested and somewhat lost, I realized it was an opportunity to turn to God. As I leaned in, I encountered various guides, friends, and experiences that directed me to a church community I love and provided me with tools for spiritual growth.Journals, devotionals, and a deeper approach to prayer became essential in reconnecting with God. I learned to meditate on scriptures, seeking their personal applications, and started praying more – not just in tough times, but also in gratitude! Remarkably, I began witnessing answers to prayers and moments where God seemingly intervened, guiding me through uncertainties. This shift has transformed how I handle stress and anxiety, allowing me to show up as a more confident and resilient version of myself. While I'm not an expert, I share these experiences in hopes that they might resonate or inspire others on a similar path. I'm always open for a chat about this journey! Ep. 5 | Efficiency Through Systems: From Chaos to Control

Ep. 5 | Efficiency Through Systems: From Chaos to Control
In today’s episode, I want to dive deep into the world of systems and how they've been a game-changer in my life. Why are systems so crucial? For me, they make life easier, give me (and my future self) more peace of mind, and help me tackle challenges while getting me closer to our goals.I vividly remember starting my home daycare without any systems in place. For lack of a better term, it was chaos! I'd scribble down vital information on napkins, post-its, or whatever I could find. Retrieving that information later became a nightmare. When I expanded my daycare and later started a commercial childcare center, I realized the importance of standardized systems to ensure consistent experiences and streamline training. But systems aren't limited to business. I use them in my personal life too. Scheduling regular housekeeping, ensuring my home is ready for events, or automating tasks like grocery delivery have made a significant difference in my peace of mind. In today’s episode, I share these stories and some tips for implementing systems in your life. And remember, systems don't have to be static. They can evolve as your needs change. So, take a step, even if it's a small one. My systems didn't appear overnight, but I started, assessed what worked, made improvements, and continued to adapt. If you enjoyed this episode, please share it on your socials and tag me at @balanced.entrepreneur. Ep. 3 | The Key to Thriving in Business and in Life

Ep. 3 | The Key to Thriving in Business and in Life
In this episode, I want to shed light on a topic often overlooked in business discussions: healing. We tend to focus so much on growth and strategy, but I've come to realize that true success starts with healing, not just physically, but emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. It's like building a strong foundation for your business and your life, which neglecting can lead to burnout and stress down the road. Holistic healing, nurturing your mind, body, and soul, is crucial, and it's a continuous journey.I share my own journey and six key steps that helped me start my healing process. Reading insightful books, joining supportive communities, and reconnecting with God were pivotal; therapy took a deeper turn, touching on spirituality, and acupuncture provided tailored support. Through this healing journey, my business is directly related. I’ve learned to grapple with burnout, have found excitement in places I had lost it, and have achieved growth that I once didn’t think was possible without sacrificing my well-being. Thriving businesses are a result of thriving individuals who prioritize self-care and balance in their lives. If you enjoyed this episode, please share it on your socials and tag me at @balanced.entrepreneur. Ep. 11 | Making Friends + Finding Your Tribe as a Biz Owner

Ep. 11 | Making Friends + Finding Your Tribe as a Biz Owner
In today's episode, I discuss finding your tribe as a business owner. Although I have an incredibly supportive family and some amazing close friends, it’s been so beneficial for me to find and cultivate relationships with like-minded business owners; people who I can share and troubleshoot obstacles with, people who I can mentor and who can mentor me, and people who push me to be better as I grow my business. And with relationships growing (and dissolving) comes loneliness, support, and the work of continuing to foster and make time for important relationships in your life. In this episode, I talk through all of it. But…how do I even begin to find these people? That is the very question I asked myself when I was at the beginning of my journey as an entrepreneur. Tune in to hear the resources I’ve found, the paths to follow, and what has worked for me. Send me an email or a message on Instagram; I want to know what’s working for you, too!I also mention The Balanced Entrepreneur Co-Working Community.
