Definition: Derived from the Latin word Menses Februaris so named for the Roman festival of purification, or purging held during the middle of this month.  With the establishment of the Julian calendar it became the second month of the year, the third month of winter and has 28 or 29 days during  every fourth year known as leap year..
Scriptures: 1 Peter 1:22-25 Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for each other, love one another deeply, from the heart. For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.
Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
Matthew 24:6-8And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.  For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrow.
