Earthquake Program Specialist in National Earthquake hazard reduction and grant programs from FEMA’s National Headquarters, Ms. Maigen Wise joins us in this episode about earthquake preparedness. We discuss the various approaches of preparedness programs through national and regional demographics as well as project successful in reducing earthquake risks. Additionally, Wise shares her experiences working with diverse communities of various makeups and people of different backgrounds. Furthermore, we discussed mysteries of previous seismic activity as well as current and future tools/programs used to address earthquakes.
